Engine Room Casing
The engine room casing houses the engine of a marine vessel, and it includes one or more of emergency power generator, auxilary boiler, and ventilation fan. Funnels are installed over the engine room casing to vent the exhaust gases from the engine room. Starting with its first engine room casing built in 1993, OPCO now manufactures more than 70 engine room casings every year.
Funnel
A funnel is fitted over the top of the engine room casing, and vents flue gases from a ship's engine. The funnel usually has a mark ing or a logo of the company, and serves as a flag of the ship. OPCO began manufacturing the furmaces from 1989, and today the company produces more than 130 furnaces per year.
Hull Block
Hull blocks are the building modules for a marine vessel, and include the stern block, the fore block, and the megablocks. OPCO's indoor manufacturing facility allows the workers to continue the construction even in poor weather conditions, decreasing the delive ry time. The completed blocks are moved to the drydock with a 100-metric ton class overhead crane.
