The winning award is quite significant because Qatar Gas is a joint-venture company between ExxonMobil and NODCO(Qatar national oil company) and it’s also famous for strict safety inspection in the world. Besides, it’s a very exceptional case that a shipowner award a prize to ship equipment company directly. Especially, It was the first time to get a prize on safety from Qatar Gas in ship equipment business circles.
