OPCO holds a steel cutting ceremony for Hanjin 10K Coal Carrier
On Thursday the July 29th, 2010, Oriental Precision & Engineering (“OPCO” hereinafter) performed a steel cutting ceremony for Hanjin 10K Coal Carrier at Oriental Heavy Industries’ Jin-gyo Facility.
About fifty attendants present at the ceremony included Mr. Young-hwan Shin, the executive director of Hanjin, Mr. Wooshik Jeong, the Hanshin SM manager, the vice chairman of Oriental Heavy Industries, OPCO’s vice president, and the officers and employees from Oriental Heavy Industries. A traditional prayer service and a congratulatory speech were given, followed by the steel cutting ceremony and a photo session.
A 119-yard long, 26-yard wide, and 14-yard high coal transport will be completed by late 2011 and delivered to an Indian transportation company. The project was dubbed HJ-1005-COC.
