June 05, 2010, Oriental Precision & Engineering ("OPCO") signed a contract with PT.Jaya Samudra Karunia Shipping about 12.9K 2 Ships Deck Cargo Carrier by full turn-key base in the conference room of head quarter in Indonesia.

The contract signing ceremony with 3 people from OPCO including CEO & President Suh Sang Won and a few persons of PT.Jaya Samudra Karunia Shipping including CEO Dennis SK Jang was held and then took a photo for commemoration.

Contracted Amount is KRW 22,820,900,000(USD 19,000,000). And according to the building progress subsequent project added two vessels in order that the contract contains options

It was quite meaningful, because it’s the other new contract with a overseas business owner in the recession of this year and it will be expected to bring animation to sales activity in Southeast Asia shipbuilding field. Moreover, The Deck Cargo Vessel moving by itself with its power is the second large scale product of OPCO. It will be a chance to make its own position in off-shore support ship & special barge market through the project.

The Deck Cargo Vessel has a boarding capacity for 16 persons, 10.2 knot sailing speed, 127m in length, 26m in width, 8m in height and KR classification. OPCO named the project JSK D1006/7 and it’ll be delivered September, December 2011.
