OPCO holds a steel cutting ceremony for BSL project

On Thursday the July 29th, 2010, Oriental Precision & Engineering (“OPCO” hereinafter) performed a steel cutting ceremony at OPCO’s Jinhae Facility 1. The order to construct hull blocks and deckhouse was released by Bharati Shipyard of India.

The ceremony was held among thirty executives and workers from OPCO’s Shipbuilding and Marine Division. The steel cutting ceremony accompanied a traditional prayer service and a photo shoot.

The project was titled BSL India, and OPCO is to build hull blocks and deckhouses for six supply vessels which will shuttle the fuels and spare parts for FPSOes(Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading vessels), offshore platforms, and offshore oil rigs. Product delivery will start late this year.
